Freed US hostage Marc Gonsalves denounces Colombian rebels as narco-terrorists
comment by Jerry Gordon
The three US former FARC hostages spoke today at a news conference at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Watch and listen carefully to the words of Marc Gonsalves in this news video, here. FARC are not simply Marxist revolutionaries, but classic Narco-terrorist thugs. Who else would bind captives and chain them at the neck to lead them around like dogs in the jungle.
Substitute Al Qaeda or the Taliban and you would have the same description. Both Al Qaeda and the Taliban fuel their Jihad off poppy sales in the Narco trade, just as FARC was a gangsta paramilitary group pocketing hundreds of millions a year off the Cocaine trade. Dry up these sources and destroy the distribution networks, and you might punch out these Narco-terrorists, big time.
Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld’s first book was about these Narco-terrorist networks and how they minted billions in the illegal drug trade. The title of the opus by her was: Narco-Terrorism: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It” published in 1990.
Bravo to Keith Stansell, Marc Gonsalves and Thomas Howes. Brava to Ingrid Betancourt.
Now Governor Charlie Crist will you renew Stansell’s Florida driver’s license so he can come home?

“I want to send a message to the FARC,” Gonsalves said. “FARC, you guys are terrorists. You deny that you are, you say with words that you’re not terrorists, but your words don’t have any value. Don’t tell us that you’re not terrorists, show us that you’re not terrorists.”
Gonsalves made the remarks at a ceremony welcoming him and two other U.S. military contractors — Thomas Howes and Keith Stansell — home after their time in captivity. The military said the hostages would take no questions from reporters.
“Almost 5 1/2 years ago we fell off the edge of the earth. … We are doing well but we cannot forget those we left behind in captivity,” Howes said. (Continue Reading this Article)
