Hizbullah is out to attack Jewish targets in the US and Canada. We read in this Jerusalem Post report that Hizbullah ‘agents’ were casing Canadian Jewish and Israeli targets. Is this ‘payback’ for Israel’s alleged assassination of Hizbullah terrorist mastermind in February, Imad Muhgniyeh in Damascus under mysterious circumstances? Muhgniyeh, as you may recall was the leading mass murderer of Americans, Israelis and Jews, second only to Osama Bin laden. Look at the toll of the hundreds of US Marines and French Paratroopers killed in Beirut in 1983, a US Navy diver killed on board a sky-jacked TWA flight at Beirut airport, the 20 Jews blown up on a commuter plane in Panama in 1992, the 29 killed and 242 injured in a 1992 truck bombing of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, in the same year, and the spectacular truck bombing of AMIA, the Jewish communal center in Buenos Aires in 1994 that killed 85 victims and injured hundreds. These were terror attacks using Hizbullah fronts and bankrolled by Iran.

As Bob Baer, ex-CIA Middle east covert operations agent said on an ABC news story about the Hizbullah ‘cells’ in North America and elsewhere being put on alert:

“They want to kill as many people as they can, they want it to be a big splash,” former CIA intelligence officer Bob Baer, who claimed he met Hizbullah leaders in Beirut last month, was quoted by ABC News as saying. “They cannot have an operation fail and I don’t think they will. They’re the A-team of terrorism.”

Are there Hizbullah sleeper cells in North America? Let’s take one example, Dearborn, Michigan with over 150,000 Shia and a hotbed of fund raising for Hizbullah. There are other locales where Hizbullah agents can ‘hide’ across the border in Canada and the ‘terror triangle’ at the conjunction of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay in Latin America. Paraguay now has a 15% population of Muslims, including Shia allies of Hizbullah. They were a significant voting bloc that recently elected a President, a former Marxist Liberation theology Catholic priest.

My buddy Andy Bostom in an essay on his blog had this to say about Hezbollah and Shia demonizing of Jews:

Demonizing Israel and Jews—via motifs in the Koran and hadith—Hizbullah views the jihad against the “Zionist entity” as an annihilationist war intrinsic to broader conflicts: the struggle between the Islamic world and the non-Muslim world, and the historical struggle between Islam and Judaism.

The most senior clerical authority for Hizbullah, Husayn Fadlalah has stated, “We find in the Koran that the Jews are the most aggressive towards the Muslims…because of their aggressive resistance to the unity of the faith.” Fadlallah repeatedly refers to anti-Jewish archetypes in the Koran, hadith, and sira: the corrupt, treacherous and aggressive nature of the Jews; their reputation as killers of prophets, who spread corruption on earth; and the notion that the Jews engaged in conspiratorial efforts against the Muslim prophet. Fadlallah argues, ultimately, “Either we destroy Israel or Israel destroys us.” Muhammad. Hassan Nasrallah, current Secretary General of Hizbullah, and a protége of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, presently Iran’s highest ranking political and religious authority (i.e., its “Guardian Jurisprudent”), has reiterated these antisemitic and annihilationist views with particular vehemence. Invoking motifs from Islam’s foundational texts, Nasrallah has characterized Jews as the “grandsons of apes and pigs,” and as “Allah’s most cowardly and greedy creatures.”
